New Features

  • Dashboard customisation: You can now customise the display order of dashboard sections within the application.
    Example: What’s New, Favourite Items, and more.
    This enhancement provides greater flexibility to prioritise the content that matters most to your brand and users, helping you deliver a more relevant and engaging experience.
  • Location search and view: You can now easily find nearby stores, check store hours, view contact details, and explore locations, all without starting an order. This update simplifies the process and gives you a faster, more convenient way to find a store before placing an order.
  • Order Now button: You can now start an order directly from the dashboard using the new Order Now button. This update speeds up the ordering process by reducing steps. The App administrators can enable or disable this feature per app instance.
  • Adyen payment integration: This update allows customers to conveniently pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay through the mobile app, simplifying the payment experience for both users and merchants. The TASK Mobile Order and Pay (MOP) app now supports Adyen as a payment provider, enabling franchisors to align payment processing across products using Adyen within the MOP application.
  • Country selection for card payments: You can now search and select the issuing country of your credit or debit card when adding a new card or making a payment in the mobile order and pay application. This enhancement replaces the standard iOS and Android pickers with a searchable list, making it much easier to find the correct country and ensuring payment methods pass Address Verification Service (AVS) checks.
  • Nutritional information display: With this release, the TASK Mobile Order and Pay (MOP) app now displays calorie information for menu items, meeting United States nutritional labelling requirements. You can view calorie content shown as exact values or ranges directly in product and menu flow popups. POS administrators can set the unit of energy such as kcal, cal, or kJ, and the app applies it consistently across products and menu flows. This feature improves transparency, supports informed food choices, and ensures compliance with US regulations.
  • Sign Up for Loyalty Callouts: The Sign Up button is now displayed alongside with Loyalty Call Outs section, making member sign up easier.
  • Apple and Google Wallet Integration for Member Cards: Members can now add their digital member card directly to Apple and Google Wallets. Once added, they can easily access and use the card instore, streamlining the checkout process and improving overall convenience.
  • Order Configuration: The user interface of the Order Configuration popup has been refreshed for improved usability.
  • New voucher activation: You can now activate eligible vouchers directly in the app. Once activated, vouchers add rewards to the member’s account, making it easier to redeem benefits.
  • Item discount rewards: The Mobile order and pay application now supports item level discounts, allowing you to receive and redeem multiple rewards per order with improved flexibility and ease.
  • Checkout popup header: The updated checkout popup header now remains the same size while scrolling through the application. This change improves the user experience by providing a consistent header.
  • The redesigned Promo Tile features an improved look and better usability.

Enhancements

  • Software version: Both the Mobile order and pay platform version and application version are now displayed in the app, improving transparency and support faster troubleshooting.
  • Rewards expiry date: You can now view the expiry dates for all your loyalty reward programs. This update ensures you stay informed about available rewards and their expiration periods, helping you make the most of your benefits and enhancing your overall customer experience.
  • Larger member barcode: The member barcode in the mobile app now adheres to the standard barcode guidelines, ensuring more reliable scanning at the point of sale and a smoother checkout experience.
