Version 1.0 is compatible with 23.04.02+ version of TASK platform.
- Access to Past Orders for Refunds: Clerks can now view and search past orders directly in TASK POS Mobile device. This feature enables eligible clerks to locate previous transactions to initiate refunds, streamlining the in-store customer service experience.
- Adyen payment integration: TASK POS Mobile application now runs on the Adyen S1F2 all-in-one device, allowing clerks to process payments during events using a single integrated terminal.
- Supports online mode using cellular network or Wi-Fi.
- Handles payments, refunds, partial refunds, and cancel a transaction.
- Supports multiple payment methods including Apple Pay, Google Pay, contactless transactions, and physical cards via chip or swipe.
- Host configuration: The initial setup experience in TASK POS Mobile to ensure that the clerks can configure and connect to the correct environment before logging in.
New setup and login flow includes:- Users can enter and save the Portal URL directly in the application.
- Clerks can log in by entering their clerk number and password.
- After logging in, users can select their working location from a list retrieved via the API.
This feature ensures the device connects to the correct environment and supports a smooth start for every session.
- Clerk Login and Location Selection in TASK POS Mobile: Introduced a login flow in TASK POS Mobile that allows clerks to securely access the app and transact within a selected location.
- Clerks can now log in and log out of the app.
- After logging in, they can select their operating location.
- The app maintains clerk context throughout the session, enabling accurate identification during the ordering process.
This feature ensures secure access, location-specific operations, and a seamless transaction experience.
- Stable Refunds During Internet Interruptions: This feature supports TASK POS Mobile to ensure refund transactions remain stable, secure, and recoverable even during temporary internet disruptions.
This feature ensures:- Refunds can still be initiated and processed by clerks without disruption to the workflow.
- Transaction data is securely cached and auto-synced once connectivity is restored.
- Designed to work reliably in low-signal or unstable network environments, such as large venues, underground locations, or mobile setups.
This feature improves reliability and ensures seamless customer experiences regardless of network status.
- Custom receipts: You can now print customised receipts directly from the TASK POS Mobile device using its built-in printer. With the new Print Receipt option, staff can generate on-demand receipts for any transaction.

- Quick Sale: You can now create and finalise orders directly from the Menu page in POS Mobile device. Just tap the new pay button to trigger payment without switching to the checkout view. This feature helps you to complete transactions faster and serve customers more efficiently.
- Manual menu refresh: You can now manually refresh the menu directly from the application. With the new Refresh Menu option, the latest menu data from the API loads instantly, no log out or application restart is required. This update ensures clerks always see the most up to date menu, boosting efficiency and minimising downtime.
- View and switch locations: Clerks can now see their current operating location and switch to a different one directly from within the application without signing out or restarting. This feature enables faster transitions between locations and keeps transaction flow uninterrupted.
