{"id":383,"date":"2020-07-27T15:31:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-27T03:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tasksoftware.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=383"},"modified":"2026-03-19T17:37:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T04:37:42","slug":"tolo-4-5","status":"publish","type":"release_notes","link":"https:\/\/tasksoftware.com\/au\/release-notes\/tolo-4-5","title":{"rendered":"TOLO 4.5"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TASK is excited to announce the latest release of our online ordering platform!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please reach out to your account manager, or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tasksoftware.com\/contact\">contact us<\/a>&nbsp;if you\u2019d like to organize an update or learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ui-ux-focus\">UI\/UX Focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have implemented a set of UI \/ UX enhancements, with a focus on smaller devices (e.g. mobile) to ensure a smoother user experience on TOLO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The menu category sub-menu has a new UI which will allow for easier category navigation on small devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our menu UI has been improved to allow for the display of long product descriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Menu categories will now display at the top of the menu as the user scrolls through the menu on small devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved the tap responsiveness and removed an unnecessary tap in the flow to customize a menu flow on small devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quantity control will display as intended on the product and menu flow modal when special instructions are not enabled on small devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved an issue that could cause the menu flow page headers to not display as intended for Step Through menu flows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added clearer user instructions on the Accounts &gt; Payments page for users with no saved credit cards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented clearer user explanation for stores that are closed but have future orders enabled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pre-saved member credit cards will now appear selected as intended on the checkout page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removed the &#8220;1 x &#8221; multiplier on order summary to make the cart easier to read<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented a &#8216;web app&#8217; image type for reward images to allow for different images for TOLO and other apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8216;more information&#8217; modal is now displaying all intended data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved an issue that could cause the cart modal alignment to shift after the browser has been resized<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removed extra blank space that was displaying on small devices when an important message was not configured<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loyalty program tiles will now display at the same height on large devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improvements to product image display on medium sized devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved some minor hero banner text display issues that occurred on Microsoft Edge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved some minor menu banner text display issues that occurred on Microsoft Edge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enhancements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We&#8217;ve implemented the &#8216;Sold Out&#8217; status for TOLO. This can be configured from xchangefusion or Portal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have enhanced the configuration options for your loyalty programs, so they can be assigned and re-ordered in xchangefusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved an intermittent issue that could cause the Dine In modal from a scanned QR code to display twice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolved an intermittent issue that could cause TOLO not to load the full UI when opened from a scanned QR code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removing an item on the order summary page is now working as intended.
